Is this a much of an issue ?

Lots of our stuff is computers and tv, and we were going with LP , but it appears that they don't cover it.

Is there anyone who offers topup insurance etc ?

Who's insurance did you use ? We are shipping with PSS, but looking at LP for insurance as its much cheaper, but does have lots of exclusions.

We used Atlantic International Shipping and used their insurance.
Goss & Co (Insurance Brokers) Ltd, part of Jelf Group plc
PM House, Riverway Estate, Old Portsmouth Road, Peasmarsh, Guildford GU3 1LZ Tel: 01483 539922 Fax: 01483 537552.

These were their insurers - don't know if they would do it direct...

Have to confess that I got a special rate as one of my rellies works at the shippers . I think they are about 3% though like the other shippers.... I wonder if the insurance company would do a better rate direct though?
