Default Earthquake

Even though we're hundreds of kilometers away, we felt it here in Kalamunda

In the south of WA, it was felt from (at least) Nannup to Katanning, and down to Walpole and Albany.

They do happen from time to time. I think there was one in the Upper Great Southern about 10 years ago.

Quakes are actually quite common in most parts of Australia, but they re generally too small to be felt by anyone. There has been quite a sate of Mag2-3 lately across the Northern Territory and in NSW, and Queensland had a run around Aurlie Beach a year or so ago.We were only commenting at work last week that they must all be building to something!

This one is the biggest for some time though.

We were in Williams having coffee on the way home from Albany. I'm not sure if we felt it or not TBH.
