e-petition to have daylight savings in QLD
Hi
If you would rather try and have daylight saving in QLD sign this petition
http://www.parliament.qld.gov.au/EPe...=553&PetType=1
I would like a bit more light after work and the cow's can still be milked at the same time as farmers can get up at the same time they always have... .

I think Qld should have daylight savings the whole year. I like not having to change the clocks and why not have lighter evenings all year round?

We've been through this already. If we have daylight saving all year round then we would have chickens laying eggs during the nights and cows going mad and milking at 3 am.
And has been said already, think of the poor curtains. An extra hours sunlight every day, they'll bleach to death and fall apart in a year with an extra hours sunlight every day.

Farmers can just get up when they want and the cows won't know the difference unless there is the odd autistic savant cow around with time skills.
Not sure if Mrs. Farmer on her way to milking might get her udders in a twist by buck naked men on porches though. Darkness might be prefferable there... .
Can't tell some people if there is the alternative poll or you might vote the wrong way... :scared: .
All the Aussies who go to bed on a night early and don't go out after 8 may be traumatised by the extra light but think us Brits could give a positive role model of how to deal with it.
