I find ELC here very expensive compared to the UK. I wanted a painting/chalking easel advertised in the UK catalogue for 30 pounds, when I went to buy one in ELC here (Sydney) they wanted $125 and it wasn't even as nice!!!!!!!
I bought my daughter a beautiful doll's house here for Christmas last year and paid around $200 for it, including some furniture. Not sure how that compares.

not sure if it the same thing, but Happyland stuff (if that's what you are looking at) is similar to Little People and there is plenty of that about.

Rather than buy the rubbish plastic on offer look for the nice wooden handmade. Last longer and can be past on to future generations.
