Hello

I asked about this a while back and got the response below:

"Thank you for your email.

Your requirement to sit a WA theory test will depend on the class of license being transferred. If transferring a normal car license no theory test is required. If tranferring a truck type license then a theory test and driving assessment will be required.

If you require any further information please do not hesitate to reply to this email. Alternatively you can visit our website www.dpi.wa.gov.au/licensing or call our Customer Contact Centre on 13 11 56 (within WA) or 08 9427 6404 (outside WA).

Kindest Regards

Customer Contact Centre"

Hope this helps.

Not sure how much this helps..we just had standard uk licences and have just got our WA diriving licences without any theory or road test. ( really quick process too just had tio take proof of id and residence plus licence, fill in form, get photo taken, and plastic card arived three working days later. I think we can drive vans etc, but not sure whether your PSV and motorbike licence will automatically be converted ot not

My husband's motorbike licence was just transferred over with his normal licence. No test, just a fee.
