I haven't got a clue! And I tried finding the answer on the following website, but to no avail!
http://www.dpi.wa.gov.au/licensing/index.html
Might be best to try and contact them!

Good luck!

You'll have to take the theory test, everyone who moves to WA has to do this.

You'll have to use P plates too untull you've had your license for 2 years. Maybe by the time you get here you won't have to.

Same with NSW. There are also tests to jump from the green Ps to red Ps and red Ps to full license.

well mr squarepants if i were you i wouldnt bother with a test because nobody else seems to worry about having a license or how many points they have on them so just come over do donuts at every available opportunity drive as fast as you like and as reckless as you like and you will be ok

No, in Oz you first do L's and after have P's.

"Once you have passed your Hazard Perception Test you are granted your provisional licence and must display your P plates on the front and rear of your vehicle whenever you drive. You will be on P plates for two years. While on P plates you may only drive at maximum speed of 110 km/h, where posted speed limits allow. "

see the link above, click on the P or L

The P plates are so that other drivers know the car is being driven by a complete PRATT.

When you get over here and see the standard of driving you will know what I mean.

Actually why they bother with a P plate I dont know, you can hear the buggers coming from a mile away. Just imagine removing the backbox from your exhaust and you will get the picture.

One thing you will need to master is the art of drinking your beer while driving and then throwing the bottle the out of your window.
