Driving in oz on English licence
Hi All
We are moving out to qld, my son is 17 and only been passed his test a couple of month, can he drive in oz on his uk licence .

Yes, for up to three months, then he needs to get a Qld licence (which should be just a straight swap with no additional test) but he will be on 'P' plates so the rules may be slightly different i.e. he may need to take a road rules test.

Hi When we arrived here in QLD in 2007 my daughter had just got her full UK license a few months before we arrived, we went to QLD transport and she got issued with. Full QLD license, with no restrictions, and never had to have any P plates at any stage, my Friends Daughter arrived a week before us their daughter was in the same position, and she also got a full QLD license and never had to display p plates at any stage I hope this helps you.
