Hi

Just a quick question, how long would it take to drive from Terrigal or Avoca to Gosford ? We're trying to calculate the commute time to CBD if taking the train. The train journey is 1hr 5 mins but we have no idea how far to Gosford by car that would add to the commute time. Also OH office is on George St in the CBD would he be able to stay on the same train or would he have to change trains. Its all very difficult to calculate when you have not actually been there.

Depends which end of George St its a very long road. I would say that he would need to catch the North Shore train and get off at Wynyard (I used to work on Pitt St which runs parrallel) or walk from Central (again depending which end of the st). Gosford to Central is propabably a little longer than what your saying but only a bit. Drive from Terrigal to station at Gosford, probably 20 mins at a guess but it would be a close guess. Tell me what Number George St its on and I will look at my map.

I did it of you and it was 2hours 20 min total time. (lot of time) but I think is over estimate.
Put in Terrigal and then George St Sydney and it will tell you the best way. But of course it will be more accurate if you put in the number George st.

thanks, that was great info. If that's the travel time then Terringal may well be out for us.
