Drinks 'n Nibbles in Sydney Hills District - Sat 6th
There's quite a few Brits in Sydney Hills District, so we're having a bit of a get-together here next Saturday 6 Nov, 3pm. All are welcome - no matter what area of Sydney... or further, you live in. We'd love to see you. Just turn-up with a plate, beer/wine/soft drinks and swimmers for the kids if the weather is warm. Throw a message on the board if you're coming. The address is: 1 Windarra Place, Castle Hill. Phone no. if you get lost is: 9894 8783. See you there!

Hi Ezzie,
I would love to come and meet some of you lot who I've been reading on here, but unfortunately we are moving house tommorrow. We are finally getting our own place since moving to Aus (4 months ago) and we have a heap of moving, shopping and cleaning to do so will have to gracefully decline your offer. (I don't think I'd be in any state to socialise!!)
Are many of you going to the Sydney meet in Bicentennial Park on 14th Nov? If so, will have to catch up with you all then.
Have a good night all!
Stacey

Hope the move goes well for you.
We are off to another picnic in Centennial (as opposed to BIcentennial) park on the 14th so won't make it there, but hope to meet sometime.

Oooh! The thought of moving again makes my bones ache just thinking about it. We moved into the house we built on a Christmas Eve (I was determined to be in by Christmas). The neighbours opposite all sat on the kerb with drinks watching us unload truckload after truckload of stuff (we hired our own removal truck). ...and not once offered to help. Lovely eh?
Hope your move goes fabulously though - and make sure you have the hot water system up and running for that lovely Badedas bath afterwards!

We are moving to St Clair (Western Sydney). Dave & I have been living with his sister and their family (includes my mother in law and 4 kids!!!) for the past 4 months just so we could get settled in jobs & wait for our stuff to arrive from the UK etc.
I'm really not looking forward to the moving part, but am looking forward to our own place at last!!
Thanks for all your well wishes on the big task!
I'm really looking forward to meeting some fellow addicted Expatters in the flesh soon!
