Does sydney still need primary teachers?
I'm on the skill list but wondered if there is really a 'need' for primary teachers? Another option I am following is more training as a special educational needs teacher. Would this be a better option to get work?

Primary teachers are not on the SOL, only the CSOL and not many states are sponsoring. So from that, I think it is safe to deduce that there are more primary school teachers than there are positions. I don't think this is anything new. Somewhere like Sydney, is definitely not going to have a shortage of primary school teachers.

A few male primary school teachers wouldn't be a bad thing seeing as my sons school now has 100% female teaching staff!
