It's about 5 mins from us, prices are dropping there for some reason at the moment so hang on, it's a good area to live.

Hi Audrey
We were there in March as we have relatives in Helensvale and when we emigrate in January Pacific Pines is one of the areas on our list. It has a real community feel about it, something which I think we could all do with as we're not going to know that many people, plus they are building a HUGE shopping mall with cinema and all kinds of shops only 2 mins down the road, its called the Westfield Centre so will be handy if you have kids. The beach is about 10 mins in the car so not too far away but you couldnt walk to it.
I think you are making a wise choice and the house prices are really good value, it also has its own doctors/dentist/woolworths and great pub(most importantly as it sells Stella) with a good park for the kids
Good luck.

Pacific Pines seems like a real nice place from what I can gather.
See you on the Gold Coast.
