Default Does ANCI acknowledge receiving applications?

Any other nurses out there off to Perth?
It'll be nice to hear from you.
We've just sent out our documents etc for skills assessment to ANCI but feel in a kind of limbo.
Does ANCI let you know that they've received your forms?
How long does the skills assessment take from ANCI?
Any advice and tips from fellow nurses would be really appreciated.
Thanks,
Phil.

Hi

I will be heading to Brisbane with my Wife, Alison, and Daughter Erin. Alison is a Nurse and had her skills assessed by the ANCI.
We went through a migration agent, but as far as i am aware,
Neither us or the migration agent was notified that they had recieved our forms. It took 6 Weeks to complete.
Good luck with your assessment..... This is just the start of the waiting game!!!

Hi,

We're also off to Bris in the very near future, my wifes a nurse, and when she applied to the ANCI in 2000, it took about 4 - 6 weeks, but when we didnt hear anything for a while we e-mailed them and recieved a helpful reply back. Try that if you're concerned.

Chris.

I asked my boss for a "to whom it may concern" reference, saying I needed it to get some professional qualification recognised. Didn't say who far, was't asked. Seemed to do the job.
