do you think we will be refused
Hi all,
Just got e.mail from lcu stating that meds have been recieved and processed and thet they have been sent to medical officers in commonwealth for assessment.
My husband has had problems with his knee had an anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, two further arthoscopies. The letter we recieved from consultant stated he would see no future problems regarding this operation but am panicking big style now.
I had a couple of things requiring specialist investigations but the doctor could see no problems with these as they are resolved. Is it common for meds to be sent for assessment ?.
Also how long will we be waiting now ?.

Any meds which have previous conditions like this are referred. Doesn't mean that there will be a problem, especially if the issues are now resolved. Its just that the case officers themselves can't make a judgement on medical stuff, it has to be referred to the medical panel, no matter how insignificant. Chin up, you will almost certainly be fine.
