Do you have a NAB bank account?
If so, and you have Internet banking, could u check and see if any transactions you made in the last few days have come out twice? Weird I know but a transaction at a servo in Toowoomba and a Nandos in Brisbane both came out twice. Myself and my OH have both been affected and our joint account, have u? (Things bought on the 26th were then taken out on the 27th again?!?!?)

I think I can top that Jen. Just had a look and we have things that have been taken out three times!
The one credit we had is only there once though.

O crap!!! I feel a bank move coming on, when we first got here NAB were crap about helping us getting money out of our uk accounts, Westpac though, even with us not being customers, were BRILLIANT!

NAB have been having technical problems over the last few days, I'm sure it will be fixed up, but it must be annoying (to say the least!).

Transactions made on Friday 26 November are still to be completed and we are working to process these as soon as possible. Some scheduled bill payments and transactions via internet banking for 26 November are still be to completed. Other delayed payments and transactions will continue to be progressively processed. In some instances customers may experience duplicate transactions. NAB is aware of this issue and is working as quickly as possible to rectify this.
At least they realise!! My business account is with them but it's no biggy for me as I don't use the account often. Will be checking that my money goes in that I paid in Friday though!!

Although my transactions were $33.04 each but there are three of 'em. And another one for $27.20 has gone out twice.
I believe these are EFTPOS payments not visa debit card payments. They won't let me have a credit card

Just went to log in and had a letter pop up about the issues. This is from that letter:
Transactions made on Friday 26 November are still to be completed and we are working to process these as soon as possible. There has been a knock-on effect and customers of other banks have also been affected; for instance NAB clears payments for HSBC Australia. I think it will take some sorting out.
Re. the other thread, some of us don't check our bank accounts daily and don't live hand-to-mouth. Then there are those like the woman on my bus the other morning, in tears and distraught because her baby and toddler had no milk or nappies.

Still waiting for my fortnightly pay, and our fortnightly family assist payments (due Thursday and Friday respectively). All of our eftpos & visa debit payments the last few days are now appearing on internet banking, but not inward payments.

For some strange reason it hasn't affected my accounts at all... Although I am with Homeside which is NAB's broker based arm. I have a line of credit and joint account Visa credit card... but its all handled by NAB for sure.
