No it doesn't.

Driving in the UK is pure bliss. Traffic congestion has decreased dramatically in the last decade. One can get from e.g. Esher to Luton during rush 5 hours in less than ten minutes these days. No lie.

I never had to drive from Esher to Luton....but I do have to drive round Brisbane.

The traffic here is far worse than I ever experienced in the UK.
