Default Do groups tour in NZ?

Do many well known bands perform in NZ, do they tour there? That might be one of the things my kids will miss, so any good news on that front would help.

Are there any good sites that would have this sort of information?

Hi Tony!

Im not sure about NZ but loads of big bands play in Aus, Ive recently seen 'The Stones' and a few weeks ago 'Santana' which will probably be more your cup of tea, than your kids, but we do get bands/artists on all levels play here. Ive seen ads recently for Beck, David Gray, Craig David, and Avril Levigne is due here [Mel] soon.

I would suggest your kids look on the 'official website' of their fave bands and see if they are planning to tour AUS/NZ

Also one of the main Ticket Agencys here www.ticketek.com check on there for touring artists as well.

Hope this helps!

Good luck, and best wishes

Hi there,

We recently had Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Pink, Bob Dylan and Pink Floyd.
Sure there have been others but these are the ones i can remember off the top of my head.

thanks for the link. I did spot David Gray on an Auckland music site and I'm sure my kids would check their favourite band tours, once we get there. I just want to be sure that bands do get out there from time to time so that my kids won't feel that they are missing out too much by moving.

So far, I haven't seen a lot of evidence of tours of big bands or names from the other side of the world.
