Oldfield said she became alarmed at the damage being caused by foxes after meeting Peter Armstrong, who owns a business called Image Furs and is a shooter who specialises in feral pelts and turns them into coats, hats, rugs, pillows and bed-spreads. Oldfield met Armstrong at a gun show, and both are members of the Sporting Shooters Association.

So, could Oldfield now go out and shoot herself a new outfit? "I don't know about that. I'm a bad shot and the best pelts come with a single shot to the head. That's the quickest and most effective method," she told Spike, with a blood-curdling smile.
