Disinfecting garden furniture and shoes
Hi can anyone help here.
Has anybody had to disinfect things?
I havent got a clue what to do - I was going to use good old dettol - but checked a website and it's full of things I've never even heard of!!!!
Can anybody give me some advice? Shippers coming on Monday

Laura,
Jeyes fluid should do the trick (B&Q or Homebase). Seems to be what most peeps use for cleaning muck off. Stinks to the high heavens tho'.

We've had the shippers round today. They recommended Jeyes fluid. Apparently the fact that it stinks is good coz it shows them at the other end you've made the effort to clean stuff.

Can I just add to this thread a quickie question.
My dining room furniture, table and 6 chairs, has "designer woodworm holes" in the body of the table and chairs, it's not real, just to make it look antiquated, does this pose a problem, at the Oz side of things?

Just make sure you remove traces of mud etc from outside stuff and don't have any plant material.
