Dimma ??
Do dimma get in touch with your employees, to check you are still working in the trade you applied for ?
Just waiting to be requested for bond money. In what time scale are you looking at from sending off medicals and police checks to be requested bond money ????

do they contact your employer directly or do you have to ask your employer yourself? My hubby (main applicant ) is a brickie and there is a possibility he will be sub contracted to a different firm than the firm he was with when we made the application ( march) would this cause us any problems????????

john is a brickie (main applicant) sheila have you been to oz before and whereabouts are you planning on settling???

We are hoping to settle in perth as hubbys sister and kids are there. I have never been over but Joe went all over on a WHV a few years back. Our application went in 3rd march so it could be a while yet before we hear especially with the new processing of post 1st july applications -- I hope our application doesnt get stuck somewhere in the twighlight zone! I know about the medicals and police checks and the request for the bond -- but I didnt know about the references -- we sent so much stuff through I thought that had already been covered -- is there anything else they ask for -- may as well get things prepared for the next stage. Do you have a rough guess as to when you will be able to go,and where are you planning to settle?
