Default Dilemma with choosing a short term rental

Help please - we are having a nightmare finding a 6 week furnished rental from 1st July (yep, I know this is hol time) Been around all the sites recommended here but most are gone or extortionate.

Now this is my problem - we have found two places but neither are perfect for what we want. One is a 2 bed apartment in Kangeroo point and the other is a lovely house in Redland Bay. Typically, I want one and OH wants the other!

What would you do? Especially as while we are there, we are looking at the following areas to settle long-term - Ashgrove, Woolowin, Ferny Grove, Kenmore. Would Redlands be a pain doing the drive in most days?

Hi Kangaroo point will be an easier to commute to the areas you are interested in,, just depends if an apartment is big enough for you . If they are similar cost than a house will certainly be more homely and youll have more room to move, especially if you have children.

If you can't decide why not do 3 weeks in each?

Good luck with your choice
