dilemma
Hi
Looking for some advice please. Has anyone sent medicals to DIMIA without an application file/reference number? Application for skilled independent on MODL has been submitted for 8 weeks now, no acknowledgment from DIMIA, had medicals done 1 month ago on agents advice, then advised not to send without a file number, doc is holding on to them. Don't know whether to go ahead and send them in the hope it might speed things up, or not to send in case they are not matched up with the application (is it right that the application is at Adelaide but the medicals go to Sydney?). Looking at other posts and timeline, it seems that most applicants get their acknowledgement and case number fairly quickly. There isn't anything unusual about the application, in fact I have Aus degrees and work experience, so had excess points! Agent advises wait, but not sure how long to wait this out before losing sanity. Anyone had similar experience?
Cheers for any advice.

Re: dilemma
Hi,
It's best to wait till you have your file number before getting them sent, If they were to get lost / mixed up you would have to get them done again, which could delay your application & cost you more.
Hope it helps.
Sarah.
