Diabetics
For all you with child diabetics out there this may be of use.
You can apply for a concessions card that allows children with diabetes to get free or cheaper medicine. I have just got 6 months supply of insulin for my son and the cost was $4.70 it would have cost about $500 without the card.
To get this you need to go to CentreLink and let them know your child has diabetes.

I am not to sure but for adults I think you can apply for the national diabetes services scheme, and you get a reduced medical rate (phone no 1300 136 588) but not to sure.
