Hi
Just wondered if anyone out there had any experience of Destini Global Financial Services ? We were at a presentation done by them at the Earls Court Expo in October last year, and liked the sound of what they did. Set up a meeting with them for next month, to go through things like endowments, pensions, house sale/rent etc but it has now been cancelled, so not sure what to do now. Has anyone used them, or had any advice from them ?
Cheers

Destini global is the British arm of Godfrey Pembroke a member company of the National Australian Bank Group. I am proposing to use them before leaving the UK in September this year. I would have thougt that they would be ok.
What was the reason given for cancelled meeting?

Not sure exactly, I think the guy we were supposed to see is still out in Australia, and wouldn't be back here in time. I've filled in their questionnaire and might end up dealing with them over the phone, but its not quite the same as meeting them.

Bill
This company was recommended to me by my visa agent. The info they sent me said a meeting can be arranged in Edinburgh (which suits me) They said they were up in Edinburgh once per month, and the initial cost £100.
I agree that it is much better to meet face to face than dealing over the telephone. Did they not offer you an alternative date for a meeting?

We were the same, with a meeting arranged in Edinburgh. Did offer an alternative, but that was next month, so we agreed with them that it was better to start the ball rolling now.
Linz (not Bill !)
