Default Dentists Aus v Uk

Just a quick question regarding dentists.I am going to get some dental work done(crown replacement and a few fillings) and was just wondering if it would be better geting it done here or when I get to australia as it is really expensive here .Any info would be greatly appreiated.

I've had the Crown Replacment work done in both UK & OZ, and the quality I found to be much the same.

Pricewise ? It was a bit too long ago to really say now, but from what I do remember it wasnt that much difference. Maybe someone who has had it done recently can help

My last dental visit cost $210 - breakdown:-
Exam $30
Clean $70
2 surface Composite-Pos $ 110 (This was a filling )

On a related topic I took my 12 yr old daughter to an orthodonist in Sydney while over here validating - 2 yrs of braces will cost $5000 and don't think much can be claimed back via a health plan.
