Thank you, so ove 18 and HCC but under 18 blue concession card...I think thats right, so no help at all PAH! (NOT YOU!! The government )

Yes it would appear if you are between 13-17 your dental care is non-exsistant, unless you attend a special development school. Sorry our clinic has a very low socio-ecomonic demographic so everyone fits the bill ...

Just a side note Medibank Private has a fairly cheap extras program that covers most dental and it was not that expensive with the government rebate. I think we pay $110 every 6 months for a family of 4. It doesn't cover everything but might be worth having a look at. I use it for the physio mainly and the rebate for pharmaceuticals is poor... I think we waited 8 weeks for a $9 rebate on a $100 dollars worth of antibiotics

I've done the maths on extras and for our family its simply a waste of money...not enough rebate.

Last year we got a teen dental voucher from medicare for $127 for each of the older kids....have no idea why? We used them, had a check up and scale and polish at our usual dentist...all good.

You should be getting another in the post very soon now, for the 2011 year, worth up to $159.85 each.
