At work the other day, my boss came up to me and said he was getting pizza and drinks in at lunchtime as one of the guys was leaving. He asked me what I wanted to drink and I said "diet coke please". He looked at me gone out and said "Don't you want anything alcohlic?" I about fell off my chair and said "WOT - you're allowed alcohol?" I'll have a beer please.

We all had a lovely get together in the canteen, machine operators n' all. We couldn't have done that in England and I realise the health and safety reasons for this. I'm not saying it's right to have beer at work but it brightened everyone's day. Hope there are many more like that. Hic Hic
