Hi All,

After a long think, I believe that OZ is the way to go. The only problem now is where to go! We have been looking at either the Gold Coast or the Sunshine coast. What are peoples opinions on these places? Ideally would like to be able to commute to brisbane easily.

Have you actually checked out the distances from the SC or GC to Brisbane and imagined doing that journey during rush hour?

This subject has been done to death in the past.

There is no "easy" commute to Brisbane from either place.

The only reason I asked was not primarily for work, unless it paid well, but to see my aunt on a regular basis.

I posted just to get peoples opinions on the 2 places to help me in my decision.

Why not start with Brisbane? get a feel of the place then decide

It is so much easier when you know someone, give yourself 6 months and then you will know where you like.

I know that this is something I really want to do, so I will be asking loads of questions. Thank you now for all your help.
