Default De facto relationships

This is a question I don't know if anyone will have the answer to but for skilled migrant visas do de facto relationships include same sex couples? I doubt it, but we a couple we know want to apply. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks,

Loopy

I think so.. I can remember reading something ages ago. I know Britain has just recognised same sex couples.. there was something on the BBC site the other month, and I know Britain is behind countries such as Aus regarding the De-facto laws ... try your question in the immigration forum, should get an answer there

cheers

I should suspect so. I know you can get an 'Interdependent Spouse' visa if you're in a same sex relationship with an Australian. Try the immigration forum.
