Default Dandelions

We went to a garden centre at the weekend and they had dandelions for sale at $4 each.

Another environmental weed in the making.

They make tea out of them. I was always told that eating them made you pee, though.

Unbelievable! When living in Germany I was advised to take the heads off and squeeze the milky substance from them onto your verruca to get rid of it! It worked!!

The leaves can be eaten and put into salads.

Yes, my german grandma used to put the green leaves into our salad, quite nice actually. Do NOT eat any part of the flowery bit, will make you get rid of it in an upsetting way (would do wouldnt it if it gets rid of verrucas )
