Hi, how old is your daughter? Mine is 14 and loves dance/drama and is doing dance GCSE at school. We hope to be moving near Joondalup so this school would be near to us. Is it very expensive in relation to UK prices? sorry for all of the questions:)

Brilliant - Thanks for all the info - Yes the Lad plays proper Rugby (Union) although I'm not averse to a game of League either. They are not at contact stage yet - just Tag - I think contact starts next year. The kids absolutely love it and I'd like him to carry on with it if the Perth move goes ahead.

On the dancing side other than the 'out of school' type are there any Private Dance Schools that teach the normal school curriculum with the emphasis on dance - nearest I can equate near us would be the Hammond School of Dance in Chester:

My little one is only 5 so her fees are still quite low. For a 10 week term I usually pay around $110. They gear up for a proper show at the end of the year so costumes and rehearsal fees adding another $150 per year or thereabouts.

I don't know of anything like this at all in Perth. WA Acadamy of Performing Arts is the only place but that is a University as far as I am aware. http://www.waapa.ecu.edu.au/

I reckon there is bound to be one (or more). There are loads of sports-based schools here (I see kids going to golf school:blink: on the train) and would guess the arts have equivalents too.

I found these two in 30 seconds on Google:

Balcatta isn't the nicest area but you could live in Duncraig, say, and send the kids there.
