Is there any cumbrians who would fancy a meet up sometime?
we are hopefully heading to perth sometime 2009 thats if this visa ever arrives

Its nice to know that there are at least another couple of Cumbrians in Australia, I supose there arn't that many people in Cumbria so chances of meeting another is slim.

We currently live near Sydney in Hornsby so if you decide to come to Sydney there is a good meet up every Thursday in the CBD.

I noticed you are from Workington, so are we! We are going to Perth on 27th January we are staying with friends first who are also from Workington they went 2 years ago and love it. When are you going?

we are heading to perth min year sooner if house sells.
where in workington are you from and wots your names?
are you going over to stay or just holiday?

We are going over on a Working Holiday Visa to start with then going to apply for the permanent one if everything works out, Ryan has already done the vetassess practical (he is a Joiner) so we just need to apply for the visa but we couldn't wait that long that why we are going on a working holiday visa to start with.
