I am seeking advice as I would like to visit a long time pal who has migrated to Australia, However I have a have criminal record and was sentenced to 30 months custodial. Is it still possible for me to obtain a visa to enter Australia?

That depends on what you were sent to prison for, how long ago it was and what you have done to change your life since your crime. Also what other criminal background you have other than the event that got you sent to prison.
