This is quite a concern for the Australian economy, the pound shops should be able to thrive in times of turmoil if they can't hold their own, who can? what does this mean for retail in general?

There's nothing wrong with filipino toothpaste, once you get use to the battery acid taste and the loss of a few teeth, for the price it ain't half bad!!!

I think Harvey Norman is regarded as a bit of a bellweather in Australia. They're saying that January has been bad and the government may just have well not bothered handing out the $10b pocket money.

It's like the stimulus package never happened

where will i now get my santuary bath products - which were cheaper in cc than boots back home ?

i actually brought some for my girlfriends back home and sent them to them -as it was cheaper for me to do that than them buying it in boots
