cost of stuff
Hi guys ill hopefully be moving to cairns in september but just wondering how much some things are gonna cost...
Beer in pubs
Accommodation for one
local public transport
taxis
food from supermarkets

Accommodation, depends what type so is really hard to answer.
Public Transport, I'm not sure about QLD but I can get a day trip ticket in ADL for $7.20. It has unlimited travel on bus/trains/tram for a period of 24 hours.
Taxis, again really hard to answer but they cost about the same as they do in the UK
Food - depends what you eat. My shopping bill is about $150 per week for 4 of us but I don't know many others that spend that much mostly they spend loads more than that.
