Red face cost of medicals and xrays

Could anyone shed some light on the total cost of the medicals please??????
We are planning on having them next month and have been quoted as follows.
2 adults @ £130.00 each
1 15yr old @ £130.00
1 11yr old @ £65.00
Xrays £80.00 each x4
blood tests £25.00 each ( I will need 3 as I am a medical worker)
Does this sound abit steep? Or would you say that this is pretty much an average price for the meds.
To our reckoning it will be around £900.00 for the four of us.
Anyway, great site, spend most days on here!!!!!!! Looking at moving to Brisbane next July (2007) if visa is granted!!!!!!
Thanks for any advice, Justin and Jackie

Sounds in the right ballpark. Our X-Rays were only £65 each though.

Thanks alot for that. I thought we might need to be prepared to spend
that much. Just wondered if different practitioners charged their own rate.

My husband my son of 7 and myself paid £390 for everything in Carlisle, thats with me having to have extra blood tests because i have a tattoo and have had a blood transfusion. He was very nice and opened up the surgery just for our medicals.

Thanks for all the replies. It has made us look at another practice in somerset, who charge more than a couple of hundred less.
Surpising how the costs vary from practice to practice and different areas.
All the best Justin and Jackie
