How do you cope with just mobile broadband - is it as good as "normal" broadband? I've never used mobile broadband even in the UK so always have a landline just for the broadband and SKY.

We are with 3. The 3g key is in a 3G router so both laptops and the skype phone all share it. It can get a bit slow if we both try to do big downloads at the same time but other than that I find it pretty good and it saved a fair amount in the cost of getting a fixed line installed in a rental and then the cost of moving the contract to another place when we moved.

Before we moved there the OH used the key for surfing between the shire & the CBD and found it worked all the way on the train until it went underground
