Going on Holiday and exchanging money
Is there anywhere in Australia that does it commission free or is that asking too much ?!

Remember nothing is really commission free. It just means that the exchange rate you pay has been adjusted and fees are hidden.
I always only tend to carry a small amount of actual cash with me so am usually happy to use American Express or Travelex and then use my ATM card as and when.
