Cost of living. How much do you spend?
Hi ya all,
Just as a general enquirey, how much would you say you spent on all your bills each month (inc rent)
Could you mention which part of Aus your in and how much work you think is there.
This will help build a general picture of prospects thoughout the territoies, and could help me and others to decide where to visit/settle.

That's a very broad question. there has been lots of posts on here about the cost of living, so I would recommend that you use the search engine on here. Maybe you could tell us what line of work you're in and what you are looking for in Oz. My husband is in IT and we are hoping to go to Melbourne as it was really a choice between there and Sydney because of jobs.

Hi ,
I'm an Armourer in the RAF and my family and I have just started out on this, and we're looking for people views on different parts of the country, I will do a search as you reccommend though and see what it comes up with.
Cost of living in Newquay Cornwall is crazy £1500 per month basic to £2200 comfortable

You might also want to look at some websites. For jobs, there's mycareerone.com.au, jobsearch.gov.au, seek.com.au. For property, there's property.com.au, realestateview.com.au, ljhooker.com.au. domain.com.au. I think Sydney is more expensive, then Melbourne, Brisbane, perth. Obviously Brisbane is alot hotter and Melbourne has all four seasons and gets really cold in the winter.
