Got recipes by the dozen (tonight we had Spicy Pork with lemongrass - yummy), but even better is to come round and Chris will cook for you (I'm very generous with his services in case you hadnt noticed) You just have to bring the wine !!!!!! (red Cab Sav will be fine)

Regards
M

PS typing time didnt feel to bad as I am drinking a very acceptable Red wine bought on our recent trip to the Swan Valley Vineyards - Hic

I'm curious about the Sanitarium Weetbix - Will they get better?

Great list, helped answer my earlier questions on cost of living. Think you should do a new one every week!!

Sambal Olek is a paste made from crushed red chillies. Delish and adds spicyness to any meal, esp good with egg fried rice, spring rolls etc....

Yes, very much appreciated indeed

That 3-ply quilted bathroom tissue is pretty good, isn't it?!

I see you've been buying IAMS biscuits for your cats. We'll have to switch our two to that when we move to Oz in a few weeks' time, as Oz doesn't have the James Wellbeloved organic cat biscuits they eat now. Can I ask which tinned cat food you give them? I didn't notice a lot of choice of tinned cat food other than Whiskas, & one of our cats is a bit allergic to the artificial coloring in that....

Any feedback will be much appreciated.

Anya.

Our two wont touch whiskas with a barge pole. Tried them on it in germany and then again when we got to OZ ( just in case the recipe was different). In germany we used to feed them Sheba all the time but I havent seen that at all here. Spoke to the pet shop women about it and she said it was too expensive to have in stock

Now we use either Purrfect, fancy feast or farmland (tuna variety only). The farmland Tuna was recommended to us by the quarantine station in Byford as their "ultimate" food. Apparantly, every cat loves it (our two certainly do!) but also the other two brands go down very well also.

Big difference is the price. The farmland is $0.41 per tin and the other two are $0.81 and $0.68 respectively

Wow, you're as mad as me!!!
Oh, and we'll definelty come around to taste Chris's cooking, and bring a red for you, and a white for myself

Well, my guess was that everything there is more expensive than the ALDI here, so I went and bought some stuff this arvo.
Special dutch stuff you can't really get in Oz anyway, and which will be allowed in!

Ok, back to packing!!!

Oh, and it's really appreciated!!! Will be really helpful for lots of people!
unfortunetly I don't have time for it anymore

no!

There is in Sydney/Melbourne.

I wanted to email them etc, but they don't have an email address on their site.

Ah, I'm sure it won't take that long before it's there!
