so it is nice to read that someone is doing ok, has a found good job and is happy.
And yes, I am happy here - its not paradise, but its lovely, and I'm starting to feel that its home.

I think I've been very lucky Cinderella; I know not everyone is finding it quite so easy, and I really feel for those of you like Donna, who are still job-hunting or whatever- I hope it pays off in the end. Mine is a combination of luck and sheer determination I suppose - I knew I would have to get work asap, and so came prepared to do anything, and threw myself wholeheartedly into every application. I guess my enthusiasm must have shown at the interview, also they liked the fact that I was looking for a stable job and not something to use as a stepping stone.

Jobs are out there somewhere, just takes persistence I guess cos I'd applied for loads; so keep trying people - & they actually seemed to like the fact I'm British! Said something about stamping my individuality on the place, so I might wear the witch's hat to work.....!!!
As for internet access, I didn't like to ask, have to wait till January to see!
