Coast drive from Sydney to Melbourne
We are going on a trip to Sydney, driving up the Freeway, but want to drive back via the coast-road.
Anyone done it...got any tips for places to stop enroute, and an average driving time?

Carl is going to Sydney to work for two weeks on the 12th Jan...and I'm going up there for a couple of nights the second week...then driving back with him...make a bit of a trip of it.
There are nicer places than Mordiallic to spend my time...in my opinion
