clothes
Hi All
Well it's half term here this week in sussex, a good time to sort out clothes, my cupboard is full of stuff, mostly things I can't get into because of comfort eating!!!!!
So apart from getting rid of those things, what clothes won't I need in Oz?
We are arriving in Oz on 28th May, so what things will we need clothes wise in our cases?
thanks

wouldn't think that you'd need wellies & thick wooly fleece anyway!!
maybe a jacket &/or jumper as it will be winter then!!?

Given that Australia boasts Ski Resorts and can be so hot you can't believe ... it's hard to say.
That said scarves and padded gloves don't come in that often.

We visited Queensland last Winter. It was and usually is around 20 c or 68 f in the Winter. We found it quite warm, but the locals were all wearing coats boots etc!! I think once you get acclimatised you feel the cold easier.
I intend to take a couple of light coats with me, but will be ditching my long woollen numbers!!

Hi,
Perth is wet in May, and windy......very, very windy. Pack jeans, shirts, jumpers, raincoat (too windy for an umbrella) and light weight coat. Tights on legs for women,
You'll find it warmer than most in Perth as your still acclimatising.
It can get cold at night, there is no central heater, just gas heaters so winter p.j.s
Were going in July.....not looking forward to another winter but I think its a better time of year to head over as it does give us a chance to acclimatise.
If you don't get it right, dont worry, clothes are cheaper in Aust.
