Default Claim it Change

If every person in the world was given 1/4 of an acre of land.......
The whole of the worlds population would fit into Australia.......
With the rest of the worlds land left over!!!!!!!!!!!

Today 56 newspapers in 45 countries take the unprecedented step of speaking with one voice through a common editorial. We do so because humanity faces a profound emergency. Talk about Global Goverment? 1984 Orwell, oucha!

Surprising, but right

Although there would be a slight food and water problem for the vast majority...

Not to mention someone will surely complain about the heat. Or the flies. Or the price of lettuce in the outback.

somebody's wii won't work even after changing plugs and someone else's curtains wont' fit the windows. Then someone will see their first spider and run for a pub only to then complain that Aussie beer is shite. Then, after a mass exodus it will all go back to normal

Something I heard a long time ago and I can't be bothered to check whether it's right or not.

Apparently the whole of the worlds population could stand on the Isle of Wight at the same time.

"The Isle of Wight is 380 km squared. A kilometer is 1000 m X 1000 m or a million square meters. so the area would be 380 million square meters. The Earth's population is about 6,500 million people. You would need 17.1 people on each square meter to fit the world's population on the island.
So it might have been true in 1965 or so, but probably not now."

Wiki answers......

That would have to be the biggest game of pile-on ever.

As long as I get the 1/4 acre with a nice bit of surf & beach.

But if you like inland a little bit....

only 25 mins to Toowoomba CBD
100 acres Plus in each block
Starting at $300,000 including power and water
That's about $750 per quarter acre inland, or $750,000 per quarter acre on the water front.

And everyone wants the water front

As long as I'm not at the bottom underneath 16 other peeps, I'm game! Never been to the Isle a Wight so it should be an experience.
