Our agent is asking us to provide copies of my hubbies City & Guilds certificates and also copies of Certificates of Unit Credit. He has his actual certificates but not these Unit Credit thingies. He's not convinced they even issued these in 1983 when he passed his course. Does anyone know if they were issued at that time or if they are essential to a successful Skills Assessment? He has his Apprenticeship Log Book which details all the elements of the course and signed at each stage, I'm hoping this will suffice.

Thanks in advance.

hello
i had city and guilds on a YTS but did not have any evidence that i did an apprenticeship. so they passed me on work experience that i had. they will pass you on work experience or evidence of apprenticeship. that book should be ok???? hope it all works out

Good luck with your application.

We are collecting together everything for ours. My husband has done an apprenticeship and has C&G certificates as well as an NVQ. The city and guilds certs have course breakdowns on them so we are hoping that will be enough and have sent them off to our agent. We will contact city and guilds though and see if we can get any more information from them.
