Which City?
My girlfriend and I are in the process of applying for residency. However we still cannot make our minds up which City to move to. We have narrowed it down to either Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth, all 3 of them having pro's and con's. We want the best standard of living we can afford, with a healthy, laid back lifestyle with the emphasis being on the outdoors. If anybody can offer us advice to help with this decision we would be most grateful.
Cheers.

Having said that, I'm off to Hobart!
p.s. Because a lot of the people who are going to reply to this are already staying in one of those cities, you will probably only hear about the positives.

The best places to live in OZ are'nt in the ciites, especially if you want a relaxed outdoor lifestyle like you say.

Most of us have picked an area that suits us as individuals.
Some have picked a wrong area and regret it.
Others have tried various places and eventually found what suits them.
Some just land in the exact right spot for themselves from word go
