Default citizenship test

Hi we are doing our citizenship test on wednesday and was wondering what documents we need to be able to apply for citizenship on the day, as I would love to be able to take the pledge on Australia day. many thanks Paul

Go on the Aus Citizenship website. Download the forms and the details are all there.

Hi Rangersman2,
You'll need a recent (no more than 6 months old) passport sized good quality photo, not a laser print one which has been signed on the back by an Australian Citizen of a recognised profession who has known you for over 12 months and must also state 'This is a true photograph of (your full name). The photo must be of your full face including eyebrows even if your hair normally covers them.

You must also provide a full birth certificate, your passport and any other i.d. that includes your signature, add & photo. something like your driving license.

There is a huge list of recognised professions but a few of these are: A bank officer with more than 5 years service, Dentist, GP, most accountants, Nurses, Police officers, Full time teachers, Vets, Optometrists.

As moneypen20 says there is far more info on the australian citizenship site.
