Just wondered if anyone has been to a citizenship ceremony in Sydney CBD. I'll probably be moving into the CBD in the next couple of weeks.

Anyone know if you get a choice of location for ceremony and the sort of wait you'd be looking at after approval of citizenship application?

Would be grateful to hear of any experiences.

Every case is different but most people have an approval within 3 months, and a ceremony within about 3 months (sometimes 6 months, if council is not good at these things) after approval.

Overall, including ceremony wait, most cases take somewhere between 3 and 9 months.
