La renaissance was the cafe we had our first brekkie from when we did our reccie. We walked down to the benches at the end of the ship terminal and ate our pastries and drank our coffee looking at the Opera House. Magic. Didn't realise it was well known!

La Rennaisance always resonates with Playing Beattie Bow for me (just as an aside) - I remember reading the book there over breakfast a long while ago and just being in that area of the Rocks was very atmospheric!
