Chocolate bars and AQIS

Chocolate bars and AQIS
Whilst at Costco recently, I bought several boxes of various types of chocolate confectionary bars to put into the container. Has anyone had any problems bringing this sort of thing through?
I've sent an e-mail to AQIS asking for the official word but I'm curious to hear if anyone has any experience one way or the other.

I did the same as my OH is a chocoholic and was soooo looking fwd to the container, not because of our lifes worth of goods, but his bloody chocolate
When it finally arrived it was ruined
We think the humidity during transit may have made it go off
Maybe it might help if you put it into plastic containers.

Thanks for the tip but I'm one step ahead of you on that. They are in their original thick cardboard boxes, which are wrapped inside tough plastic bin-liners that are tie-wrapped closed (pretty much air-tight), which are in turn packed into plastic crates with closed lids. I also have 20g silica gel dessecant packets in each crate. For those crates with perishables, I'm also going to shrink-wrap them. You can never be too careful with chocolate!

You deserve for them to arrive good mate.
Only thing is they might melt! but otherwise very good precautions with packaging.
We had our record collection melt on us. UK to Perth in July (winter season) which I thought was strange, not even that hot...
