Is it cheaper to have a new house built?
Were moving to the gold coast soon and were wondering if it was cheaper to have a new house built for you.
Also does anyone know roughly how much it would cost to have a medium sized 4 bed house built including land in the Reedy creek or mudgereba area of the Gold coast

I am a town planner, and it is generally accepted that you pay a premium for a new house out here - but only 5 -10%. Some regional areas may be different, but at least in Melbourne an older house is the way to go. Plus new houses are often in new estates out in the sticks, and you will spend half you life commuting! Cheers

Hi Sean,
There are so many variations of new builds and prices. To give you a rough idea please visit our website which has extensive land and house packages on the Gold Coast and also we can finance too. Please do not hesitate to p.m me if you require further details, I would be more than happy to help out.
Click on the house and land packages and examples are on the left hand side
